Accessibility Statement – Ally App
Last updated: 31 March 2026
Aumio GmbH is committed to making its app and mobile applications accessible in line with applicable digital accessibility regulations, in particular the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG). This accessibility statement applies to the Ally app for iOS and Android:
1. Compliance status
The accessibility requirements are derived from the Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformance level AA.
The app is partially compliant with these requirements.
Ally supports various system-level accessibility features from Apple iOS and Google Android, in particular:
2. Non-accessible content
Despite our efforts, some areas of the app may not yet be fully accessible. These include:
- Alt text for images and graphics that is sometimes missing or insufficient
- Some icons or controls without a clear label
- Screen reader compatibility that has not yet been fully implemented in some areas
- No continuous audio guidance throughout the app
- The app is operated primarily via touchscreen; full voice control is not currently supported
Audio content is optional and is not required to use the app or progress through the program.
We are continuously working to further reduce these barriers.
3. Barriers due to disproportionate burden
Some barriers in our app cannot be resolved in the short term for reasons of disproportionate burden. These include:
- Complex interactive features: Certain interactive features and specific functions in our app require significant financial and personnel resources to make them fully accessible. We continuously review options for improvement, but due to the high costs involved we cannot eliminate every barrier immediately.
4. Feedback and contact details
If you have noticed any barriers to accessing content in our app, please feel free to contact us. We welcome your feedback and will do our best to resolve reported barriers as quickly as possible, within what is technically and economically feasible:
